Living sign. The Canisteo Living Sign is the largest living sign in the world, noted by both Ripley's Believe it or Not! and the Registry of Historical Places. It is 60 feet (18 m) by 400 feet (120 m), and consists of Scotch pine. The seeds for it were planted in 1934.
